Travere industries machines are designed and produced with the main objectives of hight
efficiency, silent operation, high reliability and minimum maintenance.
To achieve these objectives, we use the best technology available : adjustable profile blades, centrifugal pitch regullation, a direct drive generator and a PWM electronic regulator
controlled by a microcontroller constantly seeking the optimum machine operating point.

Travere Wind-Powered Generators are developed in collaboration with the CETMEF
(Lighthouses and Beacons) and the Departmental Fire Services (supply of radio transmition relays).

SPEED REGULATION / HURRICANE SECURITY

Travere Aérogénérateurs manufactures rotors with «VARIABLE STALL» (angle variation from the blade stall) commanded by a centrifugal system very simple and of a great reliability.

Thus the rotor is allways facing the wind, whatever the wind speed is.

This centrifugal command allows a continuous and real-time automatic adjusting from the blade stall. It allows the aerodynamic stall from the blades even for very small variation of wind speed above 8 m/s (28 km/h)

This specific device is for us the only one enabling to get reliable any wind generator facing a hurricane.

As results :

• High stability from the blade rotating speed
• Vibrations free and smooth operating

PLANETARY GEARS SUPPRESSION

Travere Aérogénérateurs manufactures a direct coupling from the two blades spindle with the generator spindle.

In order to achieve this mechanically optimised chain, the generator has a specific multi pole design with permanent magnets with no ring and no brush.

The generator is integrated inside the wind generator housing, totally isolated from any atmospheric influences (dust, salt, …).

As results :

• Minimum maintenance from rotating devices
• Exceptional yield fare more important than conventional wind generators
